GAFTEMP® Isotherm Roof
Insulation
Superior Thermal Performance
 Description
Isotherm is a rigid isocyanurate foam insulation with versatile organic/glass asphalt
facers on both sides that are compatible with most membranes. Available in 48" x
48" and 48" x 96" boards in various thicknesses and in complete tapered
systems.
Uses
· A thermally efficient roof insulation for most membranes over all structural systems.
· A highly effective insulation for thin- design limitations.
· Where FMRC Class 1 construction required.
Advantages
· The lightest weight for high R-value applications.
· The highest R-value when thickness is constrained by design considerations.
· The best possible fire ratings from UL and FMRC.
Applicable Standards
· Federal Specification HH-I-1972/GEN
· FMRC Class 1 construction, Uplift Resistance Classifications up to 1-180. See current
FMRC Approval Guide.
· UL as a Class A component of roofing systems.
Limitations
Isotherm insulation should NOT be subjected to the application of hot bitumen in excess of
450°F.
