Description
Isotherm Composite is a composite roof insulation board combining the high thermal
properties of polyisocyanurate foam with the stable proven performance of perlite
insulations (or wood fiberboard) and a versatile organic/glass asphalt facer. Available in
48" x 48" and 48" x 96" boards in various thicknesses (see table).Uses
· A base for all BUR and single ply membranes.
· A high R-value insulation over any deck.
· Where UL Class A and FMRC Class 1 constructions are required.
Advantages
· Provides high performance insulation in all roofing assemblies.
· Permalite®
base resists warping, buckling, and shrinking for dimensional stability.
· Foam composite offers high thermal values.
Mechanical Attachment
For exact fastening recommendations, consult the GAF Materials Corporation GAFGLAS® or RUBEROID® Application and
Specifications Manuals.
Applicable Standards
Isotherm Composite Roof Insulation is in compliance with:
· Federal Specification HH-I-1972/GEN, "Insulation Board,
Thermal Polyurethane and Polyisocyanurated, Faced."
· UL Building Units (TIAR) as a Roof Deck Construction Material for
use in Construction Nos. 1, 2, 27, 157, and UL Fire Resistive Design No. P225.
· FMRC Class 1 Insulated Steel Deck and Concrete Constructions as
described in current FMRC Approval Guide.
