Flashing Products

Description
Lexsuco Flashing products are available in three forms: Metal Edge (ME) Flashing, Black/White (B/W) Flexible Flashing, and Reinforced (RF) Flashing.

Metal Edge (ME) Flashing
ME Flashing consists of a durable Reinforced (RF) Flashing base with flexible 26 gauge galvanized steel (2" wide) that is heat fused to one or both edges. Both types are available in 12", 18", 24", and 36" widths.

Black/White (B/W) Flexible Vinyl Flashing
B/W Flashing consists of a 2-ply, 60 mil non-reinforced polymer flashing that is black on one side and white on the other. Available in 9", 12", 18", 24", and 36" widths.

Reinforced Flashing (RF)
RF Flashing consists of two 20 mil sheets of specially compounded polymer laminated together over a 10 x 10 fiberglass scrim. Available in 12", 18", 24", 36", and 48" widths.


Vapor Retarders

Description
Lexsuco System.
The Lexsuco vapor retarder is a four mil black vinyl sheet available in 10 square rolls (32" x 405'). It is used in conjunction with Lexsuco R907-T adhesive. The adhesive is available in 5 and 50 gallon containers. The system has an FMRC Class 1 Fire Rating, and is UL Listed.

Permate System. The Permate vapor retarder is an asphalt impregnated kraft paper with fiberglass reinforced edges, available in 10 square (32' x 405') and 30 square (96' x 405') rolls. It is used in conjunction with Permate Adhesive. The adhesive is available in 5 and 50 gallon containers. The system is UL Listed.

Uses
The Lexsuco and Permate systems protect roof insulation and membranes from moisture that migrates from within the building. They are used above the roof deck and beneath the insulation.

Water Barrier

Description
Water Barrier is a flexible sheet made of specially compounded PVC (polyvinyl chloride) resins. Available in 10, 20, 30, and 56 mil thicknesses, the sheet forms a barrier keeping external moisture from damaging the structure. The product is designed for use in unexposed applications such as below grade and behind or beneath other building components. 10, 20, and 30 mil sheets are available in 4', 5', and 6' wide rolls, and 56 mil sheets are available in 3' wide rolls.

Uses
Provides protection from moisture damage to buildings, building components, and building contents.

Advantages
· Bridges structural cracks resulting from concrete curing or minor building movement.
· Chemical and bacteria resistant.
· Can be factory-cut to specifications.
· Variety of thicknesses and widths to meet virtually any job requirement.
· Puncture and tear resistant.
· Chemically compatible with mortar and concretes.
· Use with Lexsuco CA 103 to seal laps, and Lexsuco CA 106 to adhere to substrate.


Adhesives
R907T is a black cold-applied rubber/asphalt based adhesive compounded with chlorinated solvents used to attach the Lexsuco vapor retarder system and all roof insulations except polystyrene.

Permate is a cold-applied rubber/asphalt based liquid adhesive used to attach Permate Vapor Retarder.

CA103 is a nitrile rubber based solvent adhesive used to bond vinyl to vinyl and vinyl to other substrates. (Lap adhesive)

CA106 is a solvent based adhesive used to adhere vinyl water barrier to surfaces such as wood, brick, concrete, metal and cement. (Positioning adhesive)
