GAFTITE^® Fasteners

Description
A GAFTITE fastener is available for virtually every roofing application. GAFTITE Standard and Heavy Duty Screws are coated with GAFTITE CR-10 and have a #3 Philips or hex head style with plates-available in lengths from 1-5/8" to 8". The GAFTITE ASAP fastener is preassembled with an FMRC approval, GAFTITE 3" Plastic locking plate in lengths from 2-1/4" to 8". GAFTITE CR Base Sheet fasteners and Plate (standard or assembled) has a .014" nominal thickness in lug lengths of 1.2" to 1.75" with a G-90 galvanizing and a GAFTITE CR-10 Coating.

Uses
·   Standard and Heavy Duty fasteners are designed to secure insulation and single-ply membranes to structural steel (18-24 ga.) and wood decks.
·  ASAP fastener designed to secure insulation to steel and wood, is FMRC and Dade County approved.
· CR Base Sheet Fastener designed to secure base sheet to minimum 2" thick poured lightweight insulating concrete.

Advantages
·   Standard and Heavy Duty fasteners have heavier shank and threads than most "standard" roofing fasteners, deep thread for high pullout, and extra sharp point for quick installation.
· ASAP fastener greatly reduces installation time and labor cost, assembled with GAFTITE 3" Plastic Locking Plate. No special installation tool required, and locking plate resists fastener pop-up.
· CR-Base Sheet fastener is FMRC and Dade County approved. Meets FMRC Class 1-90. Reduces installation time. Use the GAFTITE Pogo Stick to install
· CR-10 Corrosion Resistant Coating exceeds FMRC 4470 standard.
