mp8a.gif (23381 bytes)

Metalastic Pre-Flashed Plumbing Vent covers are manufactured from 4 lb or 2-1/2 lb lead.

Metalastic Pre-Flashed Plumbing Vent covers, regardless of whether they are made from 4 lb. or 2-1/2 lb lead, are 12 in. (304.8 mm) tall with standard boot sizes of 1-1/2 in. (38.1 mm), 2 in. (50.8 mm), 3 in (76.2 mm), 4 in (102 mm), 5 in (127 mm), and 6 in. (152 mm).

Custom orders or unusual details can be designed and fabricated by our custom fabrication shop.

Metalastic Pre-Flashed Plumbing Vent covers are flashed with either APP or SBS modified bitumen membranes, smooth or colored granule surfaces, to accommodate most built-up and modified bitumen roofing projects.

Packaging: Three pre-flashed units per box.

ADVANTAGES
Factory assembly allows a high degree of quality control over all roof flashing.
Helps eliminate labor time and call backs.

Stress cracks are eliminated because, the Pre-Flashed Plumbing Vent cover is attached to the field membrane, not to the pipe. This method of attachment allows for pipe movement and expansion/contraction of membrane.

RECOMMENDED USES

Metalastic Pre-Flashed Plumbing Vent covers can be used as a pipe cover flashing on standard vent pipe details.

Pre-Flashed Plumbing Vent covers make quick and effective repair for cracked or leaky pipe flashings on existing roofs.

Stock sizes are 3 in. (76.2 mm) x 2-1/2 in. (63.5 mm) x 15 in. (381 mm). Custom sizes are available upon request.

Metalastic Scuppers are flashed with RUBEROID® Torch or RUBEROID® Mop smooth surfaced membrane.

Packaging: Two pre-flashed units per box.

RECOMMENDED USES
Designed to accommodate through-wall draining. Prompt draining of water on the roof deck will help prevent premature degradation of the roof membrane due to ponding water. In addition, ponding water adds weight and stress to the building structure.

Scupper inserts are available for retrofit applications, thus eliminating the need for removal of existing scuppers.

Available in aluminum, copper and stainless for use in 15 and 20 year Liberty guaranteed systems.

A qualified architect or engineer should confirm that the roof draining  system is proper and adequate to meet the building design and local   code requirements.

ADVANTAGES
Eliminates the need for special metal work.

No messy primer needed and no clean up.

Pre-flashing process insures excellent material adhesion to metal, even in hard to reach places.

Reduces call backs and labor costs.

Quick and easy installation helps eliminate production delays.
