Global Kinetics, Inc., based in Washington state USA, is a company that markets and distributes effective and environmentally sound products
for construction and industry in the United States and internationally. A brief explanation of each product is outlined below.
Enviro-Loc Water Repellent for Masonry, Wood and Adobe are our water repellent-hydrophobic products. They are VOC compliant, dry
invisible, 100% vapor permeable, ultraviolet (UV) resistant, non-staining, non-yellowing and inhibit efflorescence. Due to their UV resistance,
these products do not degrade under normal weathering and therefore do not require re-application. They have been applied in the field for
nearly 15 years and have shown no signs of failure or degradation to date.
ELO Oxidation Arrestor, Primer and Substrate Reinforcer is a product that can be pumped into existing concrete structures to fill cracks
and voids. This product is quick curing with no shrinkage, water insoluble, virtually immune to thermal expansion and contraction and by
reacting and arresting oxidized steel reinforcement, it returns a significant percentage of the systems original structural integrity.
Efflorescence Remover is a clear penetrating liquid for removing efflorescence, that is easy to apply, non-flammable, non-toxic, food grade
and completely biodegradable.
Cement Substitute, currently in the final stages of research and development, is a quick curing cement substitute that is water, oil, acid,
alkali and UV resistant. It is virtually immune to thermal expansion and contraction, and when mixed with aggregate it is a lighter, stronger
concrete substitute that precludes steel reinforcement from deteriorating due to oxidation.
Graffiti Abatement Technologies, a division of global Kinetics, Inc., focuses exclusively on environmentally sound graffiti abatement
products as described below.
GAT Guard is a non-sacrificial, anti-graffiti treatment for low porosity substrates including brick, slump, founders and smooth concrete. It is
clear, penetrating, water and oil repellent which implements our core technology of altering the electrostatic charge of a surface to make it the
same as that of water and oil. Like two magnets that repel one another due to the like charges, surfaces protected with this treatment repel
water and oil, the main ingredients of paint, making graffiti removal possible. Since all electrostatic charges require an energy source, GAT
Guard is designed to pull its energy from ultraviolet (UV) light. Where most every other surface is degraded by UV exposure, GAT protected
surfaces actually require it. This treatment, unlike protective coatings, is 100% vapor permeable, water and oil resistant, UV resistant,
water-based and poses absolutely no threat to the environment. As with our other repellent products, this treatment need not be re-applied.
Lastly, this product, due to the one pass application, is dramatically less expensive than most multi-layer protective coating systems.
GAT Guard plus 50 is our graffiti repellent protective treatment for high porosity substrates including natural stone, unpainted stucco, rough
concrete, cinder block and split face block. This protective treatment is a clear, non-sacrificial, water-based acrylic system that delivers a
durable barrier between the substrate and graffiti and other elements. It offers effective graffiti remediation while remaining vapor permeable.
GAT's core technology is incorporated into this treatment, giving the protective system and the underlying surface superior UV light and water
protection. As with all of our repellent products, this treatment has a one pass application, is water, oil and UV resistant, water-based and
environmentally safe.
GAT Shield is our graffiti repellent coating system for painted, non-porous and non-breathable substrates. This protective coating is designed
to resist graffiti vandalism on painted surfaces such as metal, concrete, stucco, masonry, wood, plastic, fiberglass, traffic signs and the like. It
can also be used on natural masonry in certain circumstances. It ensures that maintenance of these substrates is as easy and cost effective
as is possible. This product is chemical and abrasion resistant. Finally, as with all of our repellent products, this treatment has a one pass
application, is water, oil and UV resistant, water-base and environmentally safe.
GAT Eraser/GAT Eraser plus 50, our graffiti remover products, unlike many on the market today, are environmentally safe and remove
graffiti from virtually all surfaces. They are compliant with California EPA Rule 442 and Proposition 65, Rule 66. This product comes in liquid
and gel formulations as well as in standard and professional strengths. Finally, it is packaged in either cans or multiple gallon configurations.
