BE A CABLE TRAY EXPERT, ASK THE RIGHT BASIC QUESTIONS, AND WITH CONFIDENCE HAVE THE RIGHT ANSWERS.

TRAY BOTTOM - Is determined by the type of cable to be placed in the tray.

A. SMALL FLEXIBLE CABLES - (Require continuous support) - Use Basket Type, Punched Bottom, or Solid Tray.
B. LARGE RIGID CABLES - Use ladder Tray Rung spacing can be 4" -6" -9" -12"

TRAY WIDTH - 6" -9" -12" -18" -24" -30" -36"
TRAY HEIGHT - Standard is 3-3/8" high, also - 4" -6"
TRAY LENGTH - Standard is 12'.
TRAY MATERIAL - Steel - Aluminum
TRAY FINISH -
          (Steel)
A. Hot Dip Galvanized after fabrication (HDGAF) (outdoor use)
B. Pre Galvanized (PG) (indoor use)
FITTING RADIUS - (In pounds per lineal foot) - An average cable load is 50#/ft., know your load.

A. TELEPHONE CABLE - Usually Ladder Tray (6" RS)
B. CONTROL CABLE - Usually Basket, Punched Bottom or Solid
C. POWER CABLE - Can be any type.

TRAY SUPPORT - Usually supported every 6' -8' -10' or 12'.
TRAY COVERS - _____YES      _____NO
