LADDER RUNG-LOAD CAPACITIES

STRAIGHT SECTION / FITTING

Load and deflection on rungs are directly proportional up to and including the amounts tabulated below. Any increase in loads beyond those shown may produce permanent deformation of the rung. Figures shown in the table apply to individual tungs regardless of their spacing. Rung capacities are given for either concentrated loads acting separately, not in combination. Concentrated loads are applied to a 4" central length of rung. Uniform loads are applied to the full length of the rung. Loads and deflections tabulated below are verified by test.
