HOW TO CUT

FLEXTRAY can be formed into nearly any configuration by simply cutting the wires and bending to your preferred radius. By using FLEXTRAY bolt cutters with offset blades, material is cut correctly for a safe, finished edge. Correct position of bolt cutter is perpendicular to the wire being cut. Lay bolt cutter head against wire.

GALVANIC PROTECTION

When FLEXTRAY is correctly cut, a galvanic protective layer occurs. Galvanic action will occur when the zinc coating near the cut area reacts with the bare steel of the cut giving it a thin layer of zinc protection. This Galvanic protected layer of zinc will help prevent oxidation.
