shown apply to G-1315 regular steel channel installed with the continuous
slot on the underside. The loads may also be applied to G-11315 regular steel
channel installed with the slot on the topside provided that the channel lips are
restrained from lateral movement at the channel ends, and at intervals of 3' 6"
maximum. The lip restraint can be accomplished by attaching any fitting to the channel
with the aid of a Globe Strut Lock Nut

Concentrated Loads: Allowable concentrated
loads can be obtained by dividing the uniform load by two. Deflection for the concentrated
load can be found by multiplying the deflection of the uniform load by .08. |
