Application of data:Loads shown apply to steel channel combination with the load applied to one of the continuous-slotted sides. Unlike single channel, lip restraint is not needed in either slot.

Uniform Loads: See table below.

Concentrated Loads: Allowable concentrated loads can be obtained by dividing the uniform load by two. Deflection for the concentrated load can be found by multiplying the deflection of the uniform load by .08.

  1. Plain steel, conforming to ASTM A366-72 (standard).
  2. Plain steel, conforming to ASTM A570-79. Gr. 33 (available on request)
  3. Hot-dip mill-galvanized steel, donforming to ASTM A526-80 (standard).
  4. Hot-dip mill-galvanized steel, conforming to ASTM A446-80 Gr. A (available on request).

FINISH OPTIONS

  1. Hot-dip mill-galvanized, conforming to ASTM A525-80, coating class G90.
  2. Green Paint
