Engineers Specifications

A.Furnish the following (natural gas) (propane) fired indoor AFX heaters as manufactured by Hastings Industries, Inc.

B.Heat exchangers shall have all electric welded construction with (18 gauge tubes and 16 gauge header plates of alu-minized steel) (.044" tubes and .050" header plates of type 409 stainless steel) (.041 " type 321 stainless steel tubes and shaft of the motor.060" type 409 header plates).

C.Burners shall be made of 18 gauge aluminized steel with type 430 stainless steel ribbon inserts.

D.Gas and electrical components shall consist of not less than the following: 24 volt combination gas valve containing main and pilot gas cocks, main and pilot gas pressure regulators,redundant solenoid gas  valve; high limit control ,115/24 volt control transformer,electronic spark ignition  system,  and   (non-100%)   (100%) shut-off intermittent pilot.

E.Duct furnaces shall be A.G.A design certified.

F.Cabinets shall be 20 gauge CRS panels, (20) (18) gauge aluminized steel drain pans and finished with baked enamel.

G.Fans shall be propeller type mounted for direct-drive on the shaft of the motor.

H.Motors shall be 115 volt totally enclosed type, permanently lubricated  with internal  overload protection.

I.Both horizontal and verticle discharge air vane shall be furnished.
