| L-SERIES DIRECT GAS-FIRED SYSTEMS
Engineers Specifications Furnish and install the following Hastings direct gas-fired make-up air system.
Housing: The heater housing shall be of industrial quality with welded construction of 10 gauge hot rolled steel. An observation port and access door shall be provided. The observation port and access door shall be provided. The casing is to be primed inside and out and the outside surface is to be finished with a coat of enamel. Blowers: Heater shall be equipped with DWDI centrifugal (forward curved) (backwardly inclined) fans, mounted on solid steel shaft(s) and supported by heavy duty, self-aligning prelubricated ball bearings. Fan(s) are to be driven by V-belts sized for 135% of motor horsepower. Fan motor shall be mounted on an adjustable base outside of the air stream with a belt guard provided around the belt drive Motor: A T-frame, ODP, 1800 RPM prelubricated ball bearing type motor shall be furnished for voltage as scheduled. Burner: The burner shall be a direct gas-fired line burner suitable for complete combustion of natural gas, propane or propane-air mixture, and having a turndown ratio of 22:1 Equipment Mounting Ledge: The man fan motor and drive assembly, gas piping manifold, all necessary valves and miscellaneous controls not required in control box shall be mounted on a ledge outside of the air stream. Gas and Electrical Controls: The following controls shall be furnished with the direct gas-fired make-up air system.
Assembly: The system shall be factory assembled and wired with the exception of controls that are remote to the unit.
