INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION
- Installation of venter must be made so that motor shaft is
in a horizontal position. Discharge must be horizontal or any angle of up-flow
- Attach venter adapter to heater flue outlet using four #10
sheet - metal screws
- In orifice is required, remove the three screws which hold
the venter inlet collar in place. Insert proper orifice (see table on this page) under the
collar and replace screws. Orifice limits draft to capacity of heater
- Attach inlet collar of venter to adapter collar using four
sheet-metal screws.
VENT PIPING :
Chart on page 2 of this bulletin shows sizes and
permissible length of vent pipes. Use type "B" vent (metalbestos, metalvent or
equal) on outside of building with appropriate flue for positive pressure venting inside
building. Use suitable cap to keep out ran, snow, birds, etc.
MOTOR OILING:
Oil is not required Motors have sealed, lubricated ball
bearings.
OPERATION:
Thermostat or other control energizes venter motor. Proving
switch completes circuit to gas valve.
