HGP DESIGNER SERIES

This patented, state-of-the-art gasketed fastened rail system, utilizes a pressure fitted EPDM gasket working in harmony with a durable extruded aluminum rail to permanently bond the rails to the glass. This system tried and tested has a proven track record of over ten years of production and installations across the U.S., Canada, South and Central America as well as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and many, many others.

The rail system is also comparable with standard and custom entrance system hardware, patchfittings and locking mechanisms.

The standard door rail profile is a 1-3/4" x 3-5/8" aluminum extrusion, but rail profiles ranging from 1-3/4" x 3-5/16" to 1-3/4" x 12" are available. The rail extrusions may be used in a number of combinations from continuous top and bottom, rails to corner rails, or as patch fittings. Standard rail profiles have full endcaps to provide maximum accessibility to internal hardware. "Western style" designs feature half height endcaps with machine radiused rail ends.

For the "ultimate" in prestigious designs, rather than using cladded finishes, top and bottom rails extruded from Solid Architectural Bronze can be specified which provides maximum quality and durability.

 

TESTING
All Rail Systems Are Tested

After mechanically opening and closing an HGP 200 Series rail door system over 1,000,000 times, an independent engineering firm concluded "...the rails are still firmly attached to the glass door and no slippage observed."

HGP 200 Series rails also stood up to temperature tests ranging from -10°F to 150°F. Even at a searing 150°F, it took more than a quarter - ton of force to pull off the rails. At 75°F room temperature they withstood almost a half-ton force.

RAIL LOCKS

HGP Rail Locks are outfitted with a straight-drop round bolt for easy strike preparation and compatibility with dust-proof strikes. And because you access cylinder set-screws from the lead end of the door rail, you don't have to remove the door just to change the cylinders.

We also offer a complete selection of lock accessories: cylinders, thumb turns, standard strikes, even dust-proof strikes. Most electric deadbolts and magnetic locks are also adaptable to HGP glass doors.
