TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

All tempered glass doors and entrances shall be HGP Entrance Systems as produced by HGP
and Affiliates. |
|
All glass shall be HGP Tempered as indicated on drawings, and shall meet the requirements of
ASTM C 1036, ASTM C 1048, ANSI Z971, and CPSC 16 CFR1201 Categories I & II |
|
Doors shall be style: |
|
P - with full width bottom and top rails |
|
BP - with full width bottom rail and top corner rail or patch fitting - specify |
|
A - with top and bottom corner rails or patch fittings - specify |
|
F -with top, bottom, and lock corner rails or patch fittings - specify |
or style as indicated on drawings. |
|
All doors shall be factory assembled and prepared to accommodate hardware (i.e., closers,
push/pulls, panics, electric locks, etc.) as specified. When applicable, HGP Entrance Systems
standard hardware will be used unless otherwise specified. When indicated, all doors shall have
the standard deadbolt lock furnished and installed by HGP. The lock will allow changing of
cylinders without removing the door. |

Sidelites and other fixed panels are to have matching rails as specified on the doors and will be
of sizes shown on drawing. |
|
All doors and entrance components shall be installed by qualified installers using proper glazing
techniques, and following guidelines and recommendations by HGP and applicable hardware
manufacturers. |
|
Rails shall be taper, radius or square profile and shall be 100 Series, 200 Series, or Designer
Series (choose one), of standard height, or as shown on drawing. |
