Heat Treated and Insulating

TECHNICAL Overall bow and warp, and kink are also typical of heat treated glass and can result in some reflected image distortion. Iridescence (strain pattern) is inherent in heat treated glass; under certain lighting conditions or at certain angles, it is more pronounced. Heat treated glass meets the requirements of ASTM C 1036 (supersedes Fed. Spec. DD-G-451 d), ASTM C 1048 (supersedes Fed. Spec. DD-G-1403B), ANSI Z97.1 and CPSC Standard 16 CFR 1201.
