ARMORSECURE L/LS-SERIES PRODUCTS

Using standard and proprietary configurations, ArmorSecure ballistic-resistant glass-clad polycarbonate security products are specifically designed to withstand ballistic attack. They also provide considerable physical attack resistance and are ideal for bank windows, storefronts, armored vehicles, convenience store kiosks and similar applications.

HGP offers two types of ballistic-resistant glass-clad polycarbonate security glass products: No-spall T' designs and low-spall "LS"configurations.

ArmorSecure L-series products include a tough polycarbonate layer on the secure side that is coated with a clear, durable hard-coat to prevent spall and provide improved abrasion-resistant cleaning.* Spall refers to small glass fragments that can be released on impact. All HGP L-series configurations are tested to Underwriters Laboratories 752 no-spall ballistic standards.

ArmorSecure LS-series products provide the same level of ballistic resistance as HGP L-senes, but are not UL certified because spall release could occur in certain impact situations. However, LS-series products are easier to maintain because they are assembled with a durable interior 1/8" glass ply to improve abrasion- resistant cleaning. *

* The hard-coat polycarbonate used in ArmorSecure products is Lexan' MR5 or equivalent. Refer to the Cleaning Procedures section on page 13 of this brochure or review the manufacturers literature for proper cleaning instructions.
