STACKWALL is an engineered, floor loaded, suspended or cantilevered wall system utilizing tempered glass
mullions to structurally resist windload and seismic forces. A series of monolithic or insulating glass mainplates
forming the plane of the wall are supported by glass mullions or fins. The mainplates are joined to the fins using
specially designed metal patch fittings and structural silicone. Metal framing is required only at the perimeter and
can be enhanced or recessed to increase visual appeal.
Our engineered systems work well in a variety of configurations and can bring an added dimension to exterior
and interior wall construction. STACKWALL systems are used for all-glass facades of hotels, malls, commercial
office buildings, and race track grandstands. Its simplicity of function and versatility of design make is especially
suitable for renovation projects.

27 STACKWALL installations in the San Francisco area, all survived the October 1989 earthquake (7.1 on the
Richter scale) without structural damage. Of an estimated 1000 lites of glass among those installations, only two
lites broke, probably as a result of falling objects resulting from the quake. Tempglass has completed over 100
