HIGHLIGHTS
STACKWALL aesthetic benefits are:
The feeling of spaciousness that is created by opening up lobby areas, building fronts, or entire elevations.
STACKWALL can be furnished in an unlimited variety of configurations which makes it a high-profile focal point
for any structure.
The contemporary STACKWALL design provides an uninterrupted plane of glass of unlimited width, giving a
panoramic wall of daylight.
Large expanses of glass offer an inviting environment during the day and serve as a "beacon" or "lantern" to
draw people to the building during the hours of darkness.
STACKWALL system characteristics include:
An almost invisible support structure that spans higher and wider glass openings than typical aluminum framing
systems. STACKWALL can be combined with space frame or lattice trusses to provide a totally open look.
THE STACKWALL system has unlimited potential which allows for maximum design flexibility, including radius,
reverse radius, "saw-toothed", "stair-stepped", and sloped glazing applications.
STACKWALL will accommodate both swinging and revolving doors with minimum metal framework for a totally
glass entrance. Computerized engineering design and CAD generated component drawings ensure that the
highest quality standards are maintained. Each project is custom engineered to meet or exceed the most
stringent building code requirements including seismic loading. STACKWALL length (or width) is unlimited.
STACKWALL's major cost saving design feature is lower material costs when compared to a suspended
system. Because STACKWALL is a floor-loaded system it greatly reduces the size of the structural steel support
members required at the top of the glass wall. Labor cost savings can also be achieved by reducing field
installation time, due to ease of erection, and less need for specialized equipment. |
