I. GENERAL
A. Description of Work
1 . Complete structural glazing system: Glass
mainplates, glass stiffeners, glass entrance
doors (where applicable), metal framing for
doors (where applicable), metal perimeter
glazing channels, metal fasteners and
sealants.
2. Labor and equipment, and services
necessary to install all work of this section as
shown on the approved shop drawings, as
specified, and as required by job conditions.

C. Quality Assurance and Performance
I . General-The manufacturer shall design and
fabricate the STACKWALL in accordance
with the manufacturers' established practices
and as shown on the approved shop drawings.
2. installation must be performed by an
installation company approved by Tempglass
and in accordance with "STACKWALL
erection and glazing instructions"
3. Structural performance: A substantially
identical STACKWALL System shall have
been tested to design loads in accordance
with ASTM E 330 by an independent testing
laboratory. For earthquake-prone areas the
STACKWALL System will be designed to
allow for 1.5% lateral racking for seismic
requirements.
4. There shall be no uncontrollable air or water
infiltration through the STACKWALL assembly
when tested in accordance with ASTM E 33 1.
5. System will be designed to provide for live
loads imposed by operation of doors. Doors
shall comply with applicable handicap and fire
codes.
6. When the STACKWALL System is floor
loaded, it will not impose dead load on the
structure above. Structural support at the head
of the opening is required for cantilevered
systems.
D. Submittals
1. Submit shop drawings including elevation
drawings, sections and details at no less than
1/4 scale showing glass types and
thicknesses, joining details, anchorage
fastening and sealing methods, metal finishes,
door hardware, glazing sealants, setting
blocks, shims and spacers.
2. Submit substantiating engineering
calculations, test reports and other supporting
data as requested by architect.
3. Submit samples as requested

E. Guarantee
1. Provide two (2) year warranty, cosigned by
manufacturer and installer.
II. MATERIALS
A. Manufacture: The structural glass wall system shall be
