AS BULLETIN BOARD:
440 Homasote becomes the quick, inexpensive, tackable answer, exterior or interior for any home, office, workshop, factory, etc. 
AS A PROTECTION BOARD:
Lightweight, non-abrasive sheets of 440 Homasote, when placed over finish floors of hardwood, parquet, tile or carpet, protect the floor during remodeling or construction projects. It provides protection for working around or crossing over finished floors without the worry of scraping, scratching, chipping, staining or marring.

Also used as a protection board over gym floors, tennis courts, ice rinks, etc., to allow these facilities to be used for other types of functions.

 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
440 Homasote has been time tested in all types of climates. This durable product combines structural strength, sound-deadening and resilient qualities with twice the insulating value of wood. With 440 Homasote, there are no splinters, knots or voids. 440 Homasote in 1/2" and 5/8" thicknesses has no laminations. This product contains no asbestos additives and no urea formaldehyde additives and is protected against termite and fungi.

USES, APPLICATIONS 
440 Homasote is designed to meet today's requirements for a sidewall sheathing that eliminates the need for corner bracing and is also nailable, with twice the insulating value of wood. 440 Homasote is a logical choice for siding, ceilings, soffits and walls. 440 Homasote panels are particularly useful in home improvement projects such as adding rooms, converting carports, basements and attics to finished rooms. The range of panel size is helpful for stores, warehouses and offices. And also: window blocking, bed boards, vehicle liners, utility buildings, train boards, arts & crafts boards, fatigue mats, workbench tops, hobby projects, etc.
