Excel 500 provides the ultimate in performance, flexibility, ease of use and dependability available in
direct digital controllers.
Powerful
Each Excel 500 has the capacity for up to 128 physical input and output points, with an additional 255
pseudo points. Completely customized control sequences can be developed and are distributed in
each controller, along with time schedules and energy management options such as night purge,
optimum start/stop and occupancy scheduling.
Versatile
It's the right control system for any building -- office, hospital, college or shopping center. Modularity
ensures that just the right capabilities are available for each application. A single controller can
operate independently in a small application. In larger failities, multiple controllers can be networked
together. You can design an EXCEL 5000® system network in any configuration, then reassign,
reprogram and add modular inputs/outputs or additional controllers to meet changing needs.
Easy to engineer
With Excel CARE engineering software, you can program Excel 500 in terms understood by a
controls specialist, computer programming isn't needed. The system guides you through an intuitive
graphic process that simplifies the once time-consuming task of controller engineering.
Easy to operate
Excel 500 tells you how it's performing in terms you can understand, tells you what to do when
something needs attention. There are no cryptic or abbreviated codes to interpret. Complete point
names and descriptions are stored in each controller, making operator interaction simple. On-board
full language descriptors can be easily accessed using either a portable keypad/display unit or a
central PC supervisor. |
