The EXCEL 5000® system self-checks for errors during the programming process, self-tests all hardware during start-up, then continually monitors its own operation. To maximize reliability, all controllers contain completely distributed intelligence and communicate with each other in a peer-to-peer fashion. Override switches are also available.
