The power to manage a fire alarm network

Honeywell's Excel Fire Alarm Network offers facility operators the economy of multiplexing and the power of a centralized building management system.  Standalone Excel FS90 Controllers independently provide reliable fire detection and alarm.  They simultaneously serve as distributed communication controllers for a central operator station that performs additional information and builidng management functions.

  • Saves installation costs in large or campus-type facilities by reducing wiring required for a central system.
  • Offers superior operator interface with computer graphics, menus, and management reporting systems.
  • Reveals instant graphic displays of building information, including overall fire alarm system conditions, devices and sensors status, and maintenance or trouble spots.
  • Permits easy system changes and fine tuning with graphic-based, cursor-driven modifications.
  • Easily expands to meet new requirements with the addition of modular boards, controllers or software modification.
  • Networks with other building management functions such as security, HVAC and energy management for total building control.

  • Provides reliable local fire protection with U.L. listed standalone Fire Alarm Controllers, and a U.L. 864 listing for the central system.
