Cardholder Management
Managing large numbers of cards is easy with Excel Security Manager's cardholder management system.
The database stores a virtually unlimited number of cards, and indexes each record for quick access. You can store user-definable fields, so
that just the right information is held in your system. Additionally, all possible choices for fields, such as department name, can be
pre-programmed into comboboxes to speed data entry and ensure data consistency.
Defining access control information for a large building can be quite complex; but with Excel Security Manager it’s easy. The operator simply
picks one of the predefined access levels from a list of available choices for the cardholder. The card is only activated between the card
effective date and the card expiration date.
You can easily locate any cardholder within the installation from the cardholder detail page which displays the current zone of the cardholder.
With anti-passback zones, you can list everyone currently within a zone - invaluable information in an emergency.
