By using our Series 2000 SpaceSaver™ telescoping operator, the clear opening width of the sliding door is significantly increased.

The telescopic door is particularly popular where optimal door opening is desired, but there is limited room for a standard sliding door package.

• 7" x 6" (178 x 152) header with two separate tracks to provide quick and smooth door operation.

• Synchronized cable allows the two center sliding doors to open twice as fast as the adjacent sliding panels.

• The use of a telescopic slider increases the clear opening of both a single slide and a bi-part package by more than 35 percent without increasing the overall size of the door frame.

• Four high quality steel ball bearing wheels per sliding panel to provide durability and reliability.

• Self-closing breakout hardware will close the door if it has been broken out.

• Sliding panels incorporate an adjustable astragal with double mohair weather stripping to ensure the doors are always closed (no gaps) resulting in reduction of energy costs (heating or cooling).

• A choice of the Wave™ or Apex™ actuator.

Heavy-duty Telescoping Sliding Door

Horton Automatics industrial telescoping sliding door has four wide stile panels that create a net opening as large as 14' wide by 10' tall (4.2m x 3m).

The Series 2001 belt drive operator has a heavy-duty
1/4 hp motor and high torque gear train that drives the door panels open. Rugged bottom guides glide through a massive recessed track. The large net opening easily accommodates fork lift traffic and pallet jacks as well as pedestrians. Door construction includes 3 3/4" (95) medium stile on vertical rails with a minimum .125" (3) wall thickness.

The Wave™ or the Apex™ activator provides automatic door operation. Horton’s industrial telescoping door is the perfect application for retail home centers where customers transport large building materials.
