| Swings Open for Wide
Access Horton
Automatics intensive care unit (ICU) doors and cardiac care unit (CCU) doors are
manual sliding door systems with specific features and benefits to meet the requirements
of the health care market.
The ICU and CCU doors are of the same
proven, dependable, quality construction as our automatic sliding doors, which have been
withstanding abuse in high volume applications such as retail stores, hospitals and
airports.
Patients are always in full view through
the intensive care unit and cardiac care unit sliding glass doors, yet staff activity or
noise is not a factor. Patients rooms can be entered by using the sidelite (SO) as a
swing door or by going through the sliding door (X or SX). Should a large opening for fast
removal of a bed or equipment be required, both the sliding panel and the sidelite can be
swung out to provide this wide opening.
Consult factory for description,
application and limitations of low profile header and trackless bottom guide. See page 4
for some of the available door elevations.
