Automatic Sliding Door Systems Automatic doors are critical to maintenance of an unpolluted clean room
environment. Horton Automatics offers the Atmospheric (Electronic) and Sterile
(Pharmaceutical) clean room sliding doors. These doors feature positive seal, electric or
pneumatic operators, vinyl weather strip and touchless activation. Electrical interlocks
for up to 10 doors and explosion proof for pneumatics are optional features.
Atmospheric Clean Room
This system features an aluminum door with
beveled glass stops on horizontal rails and vinyl weather strip. The Series 2000 and
Series 2001 electric operator is Class 10 certified, by an independent test lab and is
also well within requirements for Class 1 air.
Sterile Clean Room
This system features noncorrosive stainless
steel or fiberglass doors and a Series 2001 electric operator.
Automatic Industrial Sliding Operators/Doors
Horton Automatics industrial doors were
specifically designed for manufacturing companies and other industrial facilities. These
self-contained operators are engineered for durability, longevity and low maintenance
cost. They all feature adjustable opening speeds, reverse-on-contact and a microprocessor
control.
Flex Drive Operator
The Series 6-3000 operator has a maximum
12' (3.7 m) stroke and 800 pounds (363 kg) total weight capacity; a 1/4 hp DC motor drive;
and an opening speed of 6' (1.8 m) per second for bi-parting units.
The #40 is a steel track is used with steel
doors.

Drive Operator
The Series 2001 operator has a maximum 12
ft. (3.7 m) stroke and 500 pounds (227 kg) total weight capacity; a 1/8 hp DC motor drive
or an optional 1/4 hp DC motor drive; and has an opening speed
of 5' (1.5 m) per second for bi-parting units.
The #20 track and heavy-duty aluminum
header conceals the operator and provides support.
