Activation Devices

The following switches require a "knowing act" to actuate the automatic door operator.

Low-energy Swing Operator or Other Special Switches

C1260* – Stainless steel, 6" (152) round, wall mounted, push-plate switch. Option: Engraved with Handicap insignia and/or
"Press to Open" (shown above).

C1269* – Blue anodized aluminum push-plate switch, wall mounted,
4" x 4" (102 x 102).

C1315-2* – Push-button switch used on designated handicap openings that require a push-to-operate switch. C1334 is a wireless version of this push button switch.

Special Switches

C1325 – Keyless entry switch. Entry gained by using digital code. For use with automatic locking.

C529 – On-Off, maintained contact, key switch removes power to switches and/or operator. Key removable in both positions.
C530 Momentary contact switch.

*Optional wireless transmitter that eliminates routing control wires from switch to operator is available with these switches.

C1305 Safe Pak – Utilizes intrinsically safe, solid state switching unit; FM approved. Add switches as required, such as C1260.

Photoelectric Switch

C1240 – Touchless wall switch assembly 2"–10" (51 – 254) range.

Electric Mat Switch

Electric sensing mats can also be used as door activation devices for public traffic through automatic sliding and swinging doors that do not require a "knowing act".

ANSI A156.10 has specific requirements for mats. Call or FAX for sizes and drawings.
