| Wings, Walls and Canopies All Horton Automatics revolving door series are offered in
three-wing and four-wing designs. Three-wing doors, with large compartments, are
especially practical for hotels, airports, supermarkets or any application where easy
access for wheelchairs, luggage, strollers and carts is essential. Four-wing
doors, which provide excellent pedestrian control, are ideal where security is a high
priority and for applications such as
office buildings and banks where high-volume traffic is critical.
All Horton Automatics revolving door systems are available
in a sleek round design and our patented Segmented™ design. Segmented doors are
economical and practical, offering up to
30 percent cost savings and four to six weeks faster delivery along with insulated or
bullet resistant material in the wings and walls.
A variety of canopies, including extended height and
single-cropped or double-cropped models, are also available, and round canopies may be
installed on segmented doors.
Glazing and Finishes
Segmented designs include 1/8" (3) metal panels or
1/4" (6) tempered glazing and up to 1" (25) insulated or bullet-resistant
glazing for use in wings and walls.
For round designs, 7/16" (11) safety laminated wall
glass or optional 9/16" (14) laminated clear safety glass can be used on the curved
perimeter walls and 1/4" (6) tempered or up to
1" (25) insulated or bullet-resistant glazing is available for wings.
Horton Automatics offers the widest range of finishes in
the
industry. All doors can be specified with aluminum anodized finishes and fluorocarbon or
acrylic coatings. Stainless steel-clad and bronze-clad round doors are also available with
#4 and #8 finishes. Round canopies on segmented doors are available in
anodized aluminum, painted aluminum, stainless-clad finish, bronze-clad finish or solid
wood.
