A revolution in
facility security.Control Flow security revolving doors control access to your
facility and monitor your safety automatically, continuously and effectively and at a
substantially lower cost than conventional monitoring systems or security personnel, which
can cost $80,000$150,000 per year per entrance. The automated security of Control
Flow doors also avoid the inherent problems of manned stations and the door helps pay for
itself by reducing your heating and air-conditioning costs.
Control Flow doors offer two types of access control:
Directional Security permits free access in
one direction but prohibits or restricts usage in the other.
Card Access Security offers greater
flexibility, allowing control of access in one or both directions. Owner has option to
select automatic day use or night security.
Series 9100 Directional Security
Suitable for airports, hospitals or office and apartment
buildings that require secured after-hours use, the Series 9100 is offered in 8' (2.4m),
9' (2.8m) and 10' (3m) diameters. Three-wing doors of 9' and 10' diameters can accommodate
wheelchairs, strollers, baggage and carts.
Motion detectors activate the door at normal speed. A push
button on the free-access side also activates the door at slow speed and a verbal message
announces the slow speed. Control Flow doors accurately quarter-point after each
rotation.
Should unauthorized entry be attempted from the restricted
side, the door ramps to a stop. After a warning from a solid-state voice module, the door
reverses to back the violator out, preventing entrapment. When the users step out of the
door and the secure area is clear, normal door operation resumes.
Series 9100 doors allow limited access from the restricted
side for authorized personnel, such as security guards.
Series 9200 Card Access Security
Designed for office buildings, manufacturing facilities,
research areas, computer rooms or any building requiring controlled access or verified
occupancy, Series 9200 doors available in diameters of 6' (1.8m), 6'6" (2m)
and 7' (2.1m) provide the flexibility to accommodate diverse access-control
applications.
The door normally locks in a plus (+) position and requires
only a 90° rotation to allow entry. A signal from a biometric device, card reader, a
simple key switch or push button allows single access while preventing unauthorized entry
from the other direction or an attempted entry in the trailing compartment.
The (X) logic is optionally available.
