| Should an unauthorized entry be attempted, the door stops. After a
warning from a solid-state voice module, it reverses to clear both parties, preventing
entrapment. The valid user can then re-enter and proceed through the door. Safe and Secure
Control Flow revolving doors offer all the safety
features of the Easy Flow series, plus the following:
- Bump-to-idle allows the door to be moved manually forward or
reverse to clear objects.
- NO/NC contacts monitor incoming power and door operation,
alerting your system if power is lost or brake/motor voltage is not detected. Contacts are
also available for door-in-use security violation, idle mode and passage verification.
(Anti-passback)
- Universal Card Reader mounting bracket with a built-in
bicolor LED and beeper permits the mounting and wiring of a broad range of verification
devices. The LED indicates a valid presentation in addition to any other card reader
signals and is reinforced by the audible beeper. Manual locks can also secure the door.
- Fail-safe operation allows the door to be used manually
during a power failure, and an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) provides a minimum of
two hours full operation on fixed wing models.
- Patented magnetic breakaway is optionally available for
applications in which safety considerations require a breakaway for egress credit. Held in
position under normal conditions by electromagnets capable of 1,000 pounds (454 kg)
minimum force, the wings are released on signal from a smoke/fire alarm or the remote
emergency switch and break away under 15-25 pounds (66-110 N) of force and fully bookfold
from any position
- Custom voice annunciator with multiple and field
programmable voices is standard.
