TQM
A Total Quality Management program has been in place nearly a decade and is operating to

ISO 9002 Certification
The ISO 9002 certification is an international series of quality assurance standards.
Achieving this standard places Hubbell Lighting in a select group of US companies and
prepares us to better meet your demands. (The 9002 registration examined the company's
capabilities in production and installation.)
NIST Accreditation
Hubbell Lighting's Photometric Lab was the first in the world to be accredited by the
National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) "Energy Efficient
Lighting Program" issued on all five types of lighting fixtures: outdoor fluorescent
luminaires, roadway luminaires, floodlights using incandescent filament or discharge
lamps, indoor fluorescent luminaires and indoor luminaires using HID lamps.
The program was issued under the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST),
supporting the Department of Energy's (DOE) "Energy Efficiency Lighting
Program."

Green Lights Ally
As a Green Lights Ally, Hubbell continues to be a strong proponent of finding ways to save
our customers energy dollars. This federal program works with manufacturers to help
educate customers and apply the latest energy saving technology in order to impact energy
consumption in the work place. Hubbell's acknowledged leadership position in
developing energy efficient lighting products means we offer the expertise to perform site
surveys and make critical recommendations engineered toimprove the work environment.
Through the use of the latest ballast, control, and light delivery systems,
you'll save energy, help reduce pollution and ultimately lower operating expenditures.
Energy Star Partner
With our designation as an Energy Star Exit Sign Program Partner, Hubbell continues to be
a leader in the design and development of energy efficient fixtures. Through this program
we have tested and met standards which significantly reduce energy usage compared to exits
using incandescent and fluorescent light sources. See the emergency section starting on
page 233 for products that have met or exceeded these Energy Star performance
requirements.
