Decorative Recessed Unit
This 6 volt emergency system is self-contained to
provide up to two hours of emergency lighting. The RE Series is designed for exclusive use
with high performance rectangular lamp heads. Upon failure or brownout of utility AC
power, the unit will transfer to emergency battery power to supply emergency illumination
for a minimum of 90 minutes. Upon restoration of utility AC, the charger will recharge the
battery within the limits specified in UL 924 standard. Complies with NFPA 101. CSA
available.
Enclosure
The off-white recessed housing is equipped with two high
performance rectangular lamp heads.
Charger (120/277 volt
input)
The regulated solid state charger constantly monitors the battery in relation to its state of charge. The
charger is current limited, temperature compensated and reverse polarity protected.
- Brownout protection-activates emergency equipment
automatically when utility power drops.
- Low voltage disconnect (LVD) protects battery from deep
discharge.
