Hubbell Lighting’s Microlux Series is a medium
wattage HID luminaire designed for low mounting heights and excellent brightness control. Its patented optical design provides high efficiency and controls glare while providing a square light distribution for superior uniformity. Its compact design utilizes 70-250W lamps for mounting heights of 10-24 feet.

Optical System

Computer designed, injection molded, UV stabilized acrylic refractor permanently spun into a fluted, specular, anodized aluminum reflector provides low brightness, high vertical illumination, and efficiencies of over 80%. The refractor projects a square light distribution for superior horizontal footcandle uniformity. Three stainless steel latches retain the optical system to the housing.

Low Profile Housing

Rugged, heavy duty, diecast housing has a durable, gray Lektrocote" finish. Provides cooler operating temperatures for longer electrical component life.

HID Lamp Sources

70-250W HPS and 175-250W MH.

Ballast

High power factor (HPF,) class H insulated, 60 Hz ballast operates down to -20°F (MH) and -40°F (HPS). Ballast is heat-sinked by its diecast housing for optimum heat dissipation. Consult factory for 50 Hz and magnetic regulator ballast requirements.

Additional Design Features

3/4" balancing pendant or thru-wire ceiling box mounting. Adjustable hanging system ensures plumb mounting. Completely enclosed and gasketed. Ballast is isolated from optical assembly. UL 1572 Listed, for wet locations (pendant mount only). 55°C ambient operating temperatures (for 250W MH, 40°C standard). Porcelain mogul base socket.
