Hubbell understands that lighting is more than an element of style. It is a matter of necessity. Our family of Magnudisc™ II Round Cutoff Luminaires has been designed to meet the complex lighting needs of leading corporate office parks, retailers and restaurants. With sizes from 70 to 400W, the Magnudisc™ II series offers efficient, low maintenance high pressure sodium and metal halide systems. As always, Hubbell carefully engineered each member of this impressive family for superb optical performance, even under the most severe conditions.

We also understand that designers and architects require avenues to express their individuality. The Magnudisc™ II family fulfills these needs with a variety of standard and optional color selections and a diverse array of mounting options, allowing tremendous flexibility in creating signature lighting effects. IP suitability, IP 55.

Housing

• Spun aluminum, two piece, flat or dome style which totally encloses electrical and optical assemblies.
• Rigid design with galvanized steel Powr-Panl^® and stainless steel lens band with black oxide finish for permanent beauty.

DS Series. Both flat and dome shapes are available in a minimum of 0.10 wall white acrylic top. Allows visibility of fixture shape at night — maintains aesthetics after dark.

• Multiple distribution capability from each luminaire allows maximum utilization of beam lumens.
• Assemblies are multi-faceted, segmented reflectors that can be rotated within 90 degree increments without tools.
• Vertical lamp distributions provide excellent spacings with maximum uniformity.
• DS Series (medium base) — Horizontal lamp: Type I, III, IV, V sq. distributions. Vertical lamp: Type V sq. distribution
• DM Series (mogul base) — Horizontal lamp: (provided with POMB socket standard for super lamp capability) Type I, III, IV, V sq. distributions. Vertical lamp: Type I, III, V sq. distributions

Mounting

• Units are available in arm, ceiling, vertical spoke (post top), single and double horizontal spoke and wall mount.
• The arm is extruded aluminum with adjustable steel support rods.
• Spoke mounts are 5/8" diameter steel, two spokes per side, welded to pole fitter and secured to Hubbell adjustable ear muffs. All DS spoke mounts should be ordered with RAC-4-DS or RSP-4-DS poles, for internal slipfit capability.
• DM spoke units mount on 2 3/8" OD tenons.

Ballastry

• Units are HPF Quad-Tap^® (120, 208, 240, 277V). Tri-Tap^® (120, 277, 347, 480V) is also available.
• MH units are available in 70, 100, 175, 250, and 400W and start to -20°F.
• HPS units area available in 70, 100, 150, 250, and 400W and start to -40°F.
• All ballast components are mounted on a galvanized Powr-Panl^® which installs quickly without tools.
• Powr-Panl is shipped in a separate carton to prevent shipping damage to housing.
• Fusing and photocontrol options are available.
• All units are UL listed for wet locations and CSA-NRTL/C certified for indoor/outdoor locations.
• 50 Hz ballasts available, consult factory.
