| MPS Series 
MPS offers a distinctive luminaire combining an indirect
lighting system with an aesthetic housing design. It provides a uniform level of
illumination for safety and security while also enhancing the visual environment during
daylight hours. Ideal for shopping centers, malls, parking areas, walkways, college
campuses, and commercial or industrial complexes.
Housing
Consists of a one-piece formed housing with a clear acrylic
enclosure and cast aluminum base. A gasketed top cover seals the unit for weather-tight
operation.
Integral Ballast
180°C insulation, -20°F starting (-40°F HPS), 60 Hz, HPF
ballast. Capacitor and starter (HPS units) are isolated in lower housing away from ballast
and lamp for cool operation and long life. 50 Hz available, consult factory.
Optical Assembly
Highly specular reflector system provides sharp cutoff and
a uniform illumination. The upper and lower reflector efficiently collect and distribute
the lamp lumens and provide an IES Type V symmetrical distribution. MPS utilizes a mogul
base socket.
Mounting
Fixtures have a cast fitter for slipfitting 2 3/8" to
3" O.D. tenons.
Lektrocote® Finish
Two mils minimum of electrostatically applied powder
coating, high temperature bonded to the surface for maximum adherence and finish hardness.
Listings
Gasketed for all weather protection. U.L. 1572, suitable
for wet locations. CSA — NRTL/C certified for outdoor use, IP Suitability, IP55.

(120/280/240/277 volt.) If 480 volt is desired change 8 to 5. For 347
volt change to 6. Above units have clear enclosures. For other enclosure finishes
change C in catalog logic to B-Bronze/Clear or S-Smoke/Clear.

change last digit from 1 to 2-Black, or 3-Gray.

ORDERING INFORMATION: Poles
1. Maximum allowable EPA is based on steady winds of 80 and 100 MPH
with gusts to 104 and 130 MPH respectively.
2. Standard finish is Lektrocote® bronze. For other finishes change M51 in catalog logic
to Black-M50 or Gray-M53.
3. Anchor Bolt weights not included.
4. Factory supplied template must be used when setting
anchor bolts, Hubbell Lighting will deny any claim for incorrect placement of anchorage resulting from failure to use factory supplied templates.
