Energy Efficient HID Floodlighting Family
Magnuliter Series is designed for applications such as sports lighting, parks, recreational areas, parking lots,
street lighting, automobile sales lots and building facades.
Housing
Rugged, lightweight die cast aluminum finished with durable bronze or optional gray Lektrocote® polyester. A
hinged, full front die cast aluminum door incorporating a thermal shock and impact resistant glass lens allows
easy lamp access. A silicone gasket seals the door and housing for weather tight operation. Door assemblies
are secured by two rugged cast-in hinges and two Hubbell Gard® treated captive screws to prevent galvanic
corrosion.
Beam Distribution
A variety of beam distributions are offered to meet specification requirements. Hubbell’s Anodal® reflector
finish seals the high purity aluminum for long consistent performance.
Ballast Components
The MV/MH Series up to and including
400W are mounted on a removable Powr-Panl®
ballast tray. For
easy servicing, remove four screws, and lift the entire Powr-Panl®
out of the housing. A readily accessible cover plate simplifies installation
by allowing easy access to any of the Quad Tap®
ballast’s four
primary voltages (120/208/240/277.) 1000W MH and 600W HPS have electrical
components mounted to the luminaire for cool operation and maximum product
life cycle. 600W Super
Sodium™ (HPS)
provides four second hot re-strike. Units
with "F" or "A" optics have electrical components
mounted directly to the luminaire body for maximum optical design andefficiency.
Several mounting styles are available to meet specific design needs. All
units are UL listed for wet locations. CSA certified for indoor and outdoor
use. IP suitability, IP-65.
MVM Series
The MVM mounting is accomplished by a heavy duty 1/4" steel trunnion bracket finished in Hubbell’s bronze
or gray Lektrocote® polyester and secured to the reinforced housing with exclusive Hubbell Gard® hardware.
Optics
Twin parabolic hydroformed reflectors produce an efficient wide beam distribution. MH (250-1000W) and HPS
(150-600W) light sources are available.
MVK Series
MVK is designed for applications requiring an integral adjustable knuckle slipfitter. The slipfitter
accommodates 2" pipe (2 3/8" OD), provides concealed wiring with its large, two-piece cast aluminum wiring
chamber and has serrated teeth for positive positioning and vertical aiming. (4° increments)

(150-600W) light sources are available.
MVW Series
MVW incorporates an integral adjustable knuckle fitter for flat surfaces such as square poles, round poles with
adaptors, or walls. This knuckle provides concealed wiring and is of two-piece cast aluminum construction with
serrated teeth for positive positioning and vertical aiming. (4° increments)
Mounting
MVW mounting is compatible with Hubbell pole drilling patterns for a crisp, clean appearance.

MVA Series
MVA is an architecturally styled luminaire ideally suited to today’s demand for high performance, lighting
systems. Constructed of heavy duty, die cast aluminum and finished with durable bronze or gray Lektrocote®
polyester, the MVA series will provide many years of superior performance.
Optics
Forward throw optics or medium cutoff type III distribution, MVA is ideal for any area requiring a rugged yet
attractive system capable of supplying a sharp beam cutoff. Sources include metal halide (250-400W) and
high pressure sodium (150-400W).
MHP Series
MHP has a one-piece hydroformed reflector designed for use with a horizontally mounted lamp. Its exclusive
design provides a wide lateral and narrow vertical NEMA beam spread for controlled beam distribution.
Trunnion mounted and finished in bronze or gray Lektrocote® polyester, it allows for multi-purpose mounting
applications with various Hubbell mounting adaptors.

provides concealed wiring with a large wiring chamber, and includes serrated teeth for positive positioning
and vertical aiming. (4° increments)
