Hufcor offers three types of full-height partitions: operables, accordions, and portables. Each can be used in any type of facility and each meets a precise sound control and division requirement.

Operable Partitions (also described as air walls, movable walls, flat panels) are a series of panels suspended from tracks. When in place, the panels are similar in appearance to a permanent wall. The surfaces are finished to match or coordinate with the room decor. Accessories such as chalk and tack boards and pass doors provide more versatility.

Hufcor offers three "families" of operables: Classic, Spectrum and Pathfinder. Each family is sound rated and has varying characteristics that meet functional, budget, and design requirements. Each family is available in paired, individual (omni-directional), and continuously hinged (train) configurations.

Paired Panels

Choose paired panels for wall-to-wall division. Panels are hinged in groups of two or three and are manually operated. Completely close the opening or place panels along the track for use as display panels or sight dividers. Recommended for: classrooms, meeting rooms and training centers.

Individual Panels (Omni-Directional)

Individual, manually operated panels offer maximum room flexibility. The track system enables panels to be set at angles and alternate locations. Recommended for: religious facilities, school multi-use areas, hotel ballrooms and convention centers.

Continuously Hinged (Train)

Panels are hinged together and move from wall to wall in a straight line for fast, easy setup. Available for manual or electric operation. Recommended for: hotel ballrooms and school gymnasiums.

Accordion Partitions (or doors) provide fast space division. Simply pull away from the wall, stretch across the opening and latch. Add switches, curves, and posts, to move partitions to other locations or to intersect with other accordions, operables, or portables. Available in single doors or pairs. Recommended for: classrooms, meeting rooms and religious buildings.

Portable Partitions These lightweight panels do not require track. Panels are placed in a line to close an opening, to form rooms, or used individually as display panels, sight dividers or for traffic control. Recommended for: use anywhere for space division with medium sound control requirements. Great for separating smoking/non-smoking areas.

Mobile Partitions Our NEW Roommate™ partitions are for quick and easy sight division. Recommended for: use anywhere for space division with minimum sound control requirements.
