POCKET DOORS

Hufcor pocket doors have a steel frame and steel faces. Panel faces are factory finished with the same material as the partitions or may also be field finished to match the perimeter walls. Pocket doors have a second handle on the inside to prevent anyone from being accidentally shut in the pocket.

SPECIFICATIONS

1. Pocket doors shall be nominally 3" (76) thick with frames of 18 ga. (1.21) painted steel.
2. Faces are of min. 20 ga. (.89) electro-galvanized steel laminated to gypsum backing. Face shall wrap around the vertical panel edges and require no vertical trim.
3. Top and bottom continuous contact seals.
4. A retractable internal mechanism shall hold the door(s) closed. A jamb plate shall be attached to the floor to capture the bottom mechanism.
5. Jambs shall be of 6063-T6 clear or bronze anodized aluminum and be adjustable + or - 1/4" (6).
6. Weight shall be 8.9 lbs. per sq. ft. (43.6) kg/sq.m).
