Operable Partition Options.

1. ADA COMPLIANT PASS DOOR

Available in single or double doors, Hoofer pass doors comply with the ADA requirements and are of the same construction and finish as the panels. Options include automatic door closers, locks and prep for windows. No threshold required.

2. WORK SURFACES

Chalkboard, Dry Marker Board, Tackboards. Hoofer work surfaces are inset and include a full-width pen or chalk rail. The chalk and dry marker boards are made of 28 ga. porcelain enamel steel and resist damage, abrasion, scratching and color fading, and wipe clean with a dry cloth or eraser.

3. ERASER POCKET

This handy inset pocket holds a standard chalkboard eraser or other work surface accessories.

4. RECESSED ILLUMINATED EXIT SIGNS

Self-luminous, non-electrical exit signs are available for use on pass doors. They may be surface mounted or inset. Choose either green or red with white letters.

HUFGARD SAFETY SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC PARTITIONS

Hufgard stops the partition movement if people or objects are in the path of the partition when it is being extended or in the pocket area when the panels are being stacked.

Hufgard incorporates several important safety features:

1. Pressure-sensitive leading edge designed so that only 4 lbs. (1.8 kg) force will stop the forward motion of the partition.
2. Weight-sensitive floor mat in the storage pocket to prevent partition movement with as little as 5 lbs. (2.3 kg) of weight applied.
3. Wall-mounted control.

Hufcor partitions may be modified to meet a variety of job site conditions including sloped floors, intersecting partitions, uneven soffits, etc. Contact your Hoofer distributor if you have a unique need not covered in this catalog.
