Economical, lightweight portable panels require no overhead support. Panels are self-contained and easy to move. Acoustical performance is assured with basic STC ratings up to 40. Options such as pass doors, inset work surfaces and K-V slotting provide additional versatility.

PORTABLE GUIDE SPECIFICATIONS

1. Product to be Hufcor (select one): PCS Portable Panels PC Portable Panels as manufactured by Hufcor/Airwall, Inc., Bellflower, CA.
2. Panel Construction shall be nominally 2" (50mm) thick in manufacturer's standard widths.

1. Panel skins shall be laminated to appropriate structural and acoustical backing, mounted in full-perimeter protective aluminum frames.
2. Frames shall be of clear anodized aluminum and fully enclose all edges of the surface material.
3. Panel to incorporate a 2-3/8" (11mm) high clear anodized aluminum kick base.
4. Base to accommodate up to 1" (25mm) of vertical adjustment for out-of-level floor conditions and include carpet gripper or neoprene seal which grips hard surface floors.
5. Cam locks shall be recessed in panel edge and provide panel-to-panel alignment when activated.

3. Seals

1. Panels incorporate vertical vinyl acoustical seals.
2. Model PCS: Top retractable seal to be spring-loaded and self-compensating. Seal shall exert no more than 20 lbs. (9kg) upward force per panel and provide 2-1/2" (64mm) max. upward travel.

4. Finish To Be

1. Standard face finish shall be factory-applied reinforced vinyl fabric with woven backing. Color to be selected from manufacturer's standard color selectors.
2. Premium vertical ribbed carpet to be selected from manufacturer's standard color selectors.
3. Approved non-standard material.
4. Panels may be unfinished for field finishing.
5. Frames and seal channel shall be in clear anodized finish. Optional: Color anodized.

5. Operation

1. Panels are manually set in place.
2. PCS Model: The top seal is retracted. When released, it nests around ceiling spline or caddy clips for lateral stability. PC Model - Panels are slipped into permanent channel attached to ceiling..

6. Warranty. The installation shall be guaranteed for two years against defects in material and workmanship.
