MOVABLE GLASS WALL

Glass walls are used in areas that you wish to divide with a physical, but not a visual barrier, and sound control is not a requirement. Mechanical fasteners go through the glass and attach to the top and bottom rails, preventing glass slippage. Panels are omni-directional and are able to negotiate turns and be used in alternative locations. Floor pins secure each panel in position.

GLASS OPERABLE PARTITIONS FEATURES

1. Hufcor Series G600 are individual, top supported, manually operated, omni-directional glass panels.
2. Individual panels are nominally 1-9/16" (39.7mm) thick, and up to 48" (1219m) in width and to 12' (3.66m) in height.
3. The glass faces are of 1/2" (12.7mm) fully tempered glass.
4. The glass is mechanically attached to the top and bottom rails and does not rely on friction and/or adhesives.
5. The top and bottom supporting rails are of clear anodized architectural-grade aluminum.
6. The panels are positioned in the opening and the floor bolt manually set.
7. The panel weight is approximately 34.2 Kg. per sq. M. (3.4 kg) for 1/2" (12.7mm) glass.
8. The omni-directional track is of clear anodized architectural-grade extruded aluminum alloy 6036-T6. Each panel is supported by two 2-wheeled carriers. Each wheel has precision ground bearings encased with Delrin for quiet operation.
9. Allow approximately 2-1/2" (63.5mm) per panel for stack depth.

Convert any space quickly with Hufcor's newest product, ROOMMATE™. ROOMMATE is a mobile partition designed to provide inexpensive space and sight division. Units are available in heights up to 8 feet and widths to 24' 5". Multiple units can be configured to form a room within a room. The new ROOMMATE moves on a series of wheels and quickly stacks while not in use. To use, simply pull the panels into position. Each ROOMMATE can be configured in a curve or straight line without the need for separate fasteners found in competitor's products. When not in use, the panels fold into a compact unit that is easily rolled to a storage area.

ROOMMATE panels are connected with a unique, patent-pending hinge that allows the panels to rotate 360 degrees for optimum flexibility. Instead of a piano hinge, the panel edges have full height rubber seals to protect fingers from pinching.
