ACCORDION PARTITIONS

SPECIFICATIONS

  1. Product to be accordion partitions model ____ (select from Chart A) as manufactured by Hufcor Inc.
  2. Partition shall consist of two laminated covers assembled to galvanized steel pantographs. Vertical steel channel posts shall support pantographs at each end. Covers to be semi-rigid 5-ply laminated construction to provide wrinkle-free impact-resistant surfaces. Model 1500 - Covers to have fiber-board strips and x-crepe backing laminated within each fold. Model 2000 - Same as Model 1500. plus 2-ply sweep strips top and bottom of one side. Model 3100 - Covers have multi-ply sweep strips top and bottom of both sides and fiberglass laminated within each fold. Jamb to be equipped with Magnaseal® dual magnetic contact latch, full height of opening. Series 3500-4400 - same as Series 3100 but with Steelcor laminated within each fold.
  3. Suspension System Partition to be supported by one adjustable 4-wheel nylon-tried steel ball bearing carrier at lead post. Intermediate carriers to be 2-wheel nylon-tired steel ball bearing carriers spaced 18" on center. Track shall be of clear anodized architectural grade 6063-T6 aluminum.
  4. Finishes
  1. Standard face finish shall be factory applied reinforced vinyl fabric with woven backing. Color to be selected from manufacturer's standard color selector.
  2. Premium surfaces to be selected from manufacturer's standard color selectors.
  1. Vertical ribbed carpet (not available on Model 4400).
  2. 2. Polyolefin stain-resistant fabric.
  1. Approved non-standard material.
  1. Operation

Partitions shall be manually operated. Option: Partitions shall be electrically operated.

  1. Acoustics

Partitions shall have been tested by an independent acoustical consultant at a laboratory accredited by the National Bureau of Standards in accordance with ASTM E90 and have an acoustical rating of no less than _______ STC (select desired rating from chart A).

  1. Warranty. Partitions shall be guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years and the pantographs, trolleys, and tracks are guaranteed for 10 years.
