To receive the AMCA seal, louvers must meet certain test criteria. The tests are based on a 48" x 48" size. The louvers are tested without birdscreens and must be mill finished. The water test is conducted at a rainfall of 4" per hour during a 15-minute period. The AMCA Certified Ratings Seal applies to air capacities in the intake mode only. The ratings shown are based on tests and procedures performed in accordance with AMCA Publication 511 and comply with the requirements of the AMCA Certified Ratings Program. The AMCA Certified Ratings Seal applies to air performance ratings and water penetration ratings.
