With its warm, rich, reddish-brown coloring and beautiful graining, Mahogany has been the traditional choice in distinguished settings for centuries. We offer mahogany in 2-1/4" strip, 3", 4" and 5" plank and on a custom basis in widths up to 9" wide. The various mahogany types IHF offers are: African Mahogany khaya this traditional mahogany from Africa is very similar to the South American Mahogany we also offer in hardness, grain, and color. Both these mahoganies are very stable but their softness makes them suitable for residential use only. African Mahogany sapele is a harder mahogany type with more pronounced graining and darker color than the other mahoganies.
