Dimension Options:
Our tub surrounds are manufactured slightly oversized and are cut to
fit on site. All panels are 1/4" thick. Wall panels and seam covers can
be up to 96" high, and trim pieces are up to 100" high. Trim widths vary
according to application.
Installation:
Tub surrounds should be installed over moisture-resistant wall board
or sound ceramic tile. To arrange for our trained professionals to install your tub
surrounds, call your local sales representative.
Technical Data:
Introsul tub surrounds meet or exceed the standards set by the
American National Standards Institute, Inc. Typical test results showed no cracks,
chips or blisters in the workmanship or finish; no fractures of structural integrity from
point impact loads; no staining; no evidence of cracking or crazing from the hydro-thermal
shock test; and the finish was unaffected in the chemical resistance test. Also,
from the cigarette test there was no ignition or progressive glow of the surface during or
after contact with burning cigarettes. Any resulting damage is easily repaired using
abrasive and polishing compounds to approximate the original finish. The flammability test
had a flame index of 5.95. All test results meet or exceed UPC, NAHB, and HUD
Bulletin No. 73A requirements.
