results calculated on the basis of the areas under the curves of flame spread distance,
temperature, and smoke developed versus time are provided in the table below for

OBSERVATIONS: Surface cracked and flaky to 6 1/2 ft. Material
cracked and retained by hexagonal wire mesh to 12 ft.
REMARKS: None
* Supported on 1/4" diameter steel rods spaced 2' on center and
2" hexagonal wire mesh.
CONCLUSIONS : Based on the test, the flame spread index, calculated
according to ASTM E 84, meets Class A (Class I) - 25 or under flame spread.
