CYLINDRICAL BLOOD BANK REFRIGERATOR

A Jewett trademark, the BB2 cylindrical blood bank refrigerator is designed for quick access to inventory and accurate cataloging of contents. Circular revolving shelves put blood components within easy reach, while the cylindrical configuration conserves valuable lab space. A forced-air circulation system maintains close temperature uniformity throughout the cabinet, while the microprocessor DTPM 1000 alarm/monitor system supervises operating conditions.

The BB2 is designed to meet AABB, ANRC, and FDA criteria for blood component storage.

• Solid-state electronic temperature controller, pre-set for +4°C operation.
• Microprocessor DTPM alarm/monitor system with digital temperature display, resolution to 0.1°C.
• Circular chart recorder for permanent record of solution temperature (optional).

DTPM Alarm/Monitor System

• Audible and visual warning in case of AC power failure or cabinet temperature deviation from setpoint.
• Auto-tracking overtemp parameters are factory set in accordance with AABB specifications.
• Different audio and warning light signatures to indicate specific failure modes.
• Built-in alarm silence with automatic ringback; choice of two pre-programmed time delays.
• Batter back-up with battery test switch.
